About

The Chris Blackburn Band Welcomes You

Chris started out at age 15 doing solo vocal guitar shows and moved to Nashville in 1990. After 10 years in Nashville, making contacts and getting his feet wet in the industry, he formed his own band at the end of November in 2000.

This website is designed and dedicated to you to keep you informed and up to date on all that happening with Chris and his band.

Chris started out as a solo act singing and playing  restaurants, inns, and clubs at age 15 with his guitar singing cover favorites in a variety of styles from pop, rock, country, blues, and gospel.

Chris has an eclectic repertoire of over 1,500 songs, including his originals, while he and his band have worked up over 400 songs in their shows, always keeping it fresh and new.

Chris has recorded two albums to date with a third one on the way. He has also opened for some major acts along the way playing before audiences from 60 to 60,000 and loving every minute on stage.

Always well received wherever they go, The Chris Blackburn Band has a reputation for being on time, accommodating, and professional.

Here is a 2012 endorsement from Ray Walker, bass singer for the lengendary Jordanaires:

“Several professionals in the music industry responded to me as to Chris’s fine voice, sincere performances, and original songs. I feel his talent warrants a good long look at a fine young man and performer, dedicated totally to his audiences by delivering a show from his stage that leaves folks saying, “Happy I was here.”
